The second part of the webinar series on Photonics History and Semiconductor Laser Theory and Design including a hands-on experience using LaserMatrix Software, was completed successfully on Monday, February 21. This part was entitled “Semiconductor lasers: Cavity enhanced high speed DMLs & Introduction to LaserMatrix Software” and the instructor was Richard Schatz, Senior researcher and lecturer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
Undergraduate and postgraduate University students in Physics, Photonics, and optical communications as well as young engineers and professionals involved in semiconductor laser design, had the chance to gain valuable knowledge on radio and photonics history.
